Since arriving in Canada more than 30 years ago from their native Greece, brothers Tony and Costa Antonopoulos have built a portfolio of elegant restaurants and boutique hotels in historic Old Montreal. Over the past many years, the group has been recognized on several occasions for its exceptional contribution to regional tourism.

The Auberge du Vieux-Port was listed among Travel + Leisure’s 500 World’s Best Hotels in 2014. One year earlier, Hôtel Nelligan made Conde Nast’s 2013 Gold List with a 91.4 rating. Moreover, in its October, 2011 edition, Condé Nast unveiled its Top 40 Hotels, ranking Hotel Nelligan 3rd in Canada and 1st in Montreal and Auberge du Vieux-Port 7th in Canada and 2nd in Montreal. In 2010,Travel + Leisure magazine listed Hôtel Nelligan and the Place d’Armes Hôtel & Suites first and second, respectively, in world destinations with the best overall value. The establishments also topped the publication’s North American list of hotels priced at $250 or less per night.
